Strengthening Our Bond with Israel

At Loving Moms, we believe that a deep, personal connection to Israel—both its communities and its land—is essential for strengthening Jewish identity and resilience. The events of October 7th reinforced the urgent need for unity, support, and action. By forging meaningful relationships with the people of Israel, especially those in communities directly affected by terror, we ensure that they are not alone, and we remind ourselves that their struggles are our struggles.

Through educational initiatives, cultural exchanges, and hands-on support, we are committed to bridging the distance between our local communities and Israel. By fostering these connections, we not only provide tangible help but also cultivate a lasting sense of solidarity, responsibility, and love for the land that has been central to Jewish history and survival for generations.Israel is not just a place—it is our shared home, our heritage, and our future. Through our efforts, we strive to ensure that every member of our community, young and old, feels a deep and unbreakable bond with it.

Mission to Israel: Standing in Solidarity

Loving Moms traveled to Israel, organized by Impakto Travel,  to provide hands-on support to those in need. During our mission, we visited and cooked for soldiers, ensuring they felt the warmth and gratitude of our community.

We went to kibbutzim affected by terror, including Kibbutz Nir Oz and Sderot, to stand with families who endured unimaginable loss. Additionally, we volunteered with farmers struggling to sustain their livelihoods, stepping in to help as many of their workers were no longer able to do so. Our mission was clear: to bring comfort, strength, and solidarity to those who needed it most.

Welcoming Children Hostages:
A Journey to Healing

Loving Moms had the profound honor of welcoming the children who were held hostage by Hamas to Miami for a week of relaxation, healing, and community support. These brave young souls were embraced with warmth and love at a special reception at Jungle Island, where they felt the unwavering support of communities beyond Israel. Through care, kindness, and togetherness, we aimed to help them begin their journey toward recovery, reminding them that they are not alone.

Welcoming Heroes from Kibbutz Or Haner

In partnership with Project24, Loving Moms had the honor of welcoming heroes from Kibbutz Or Haner, providing them with a much-needed opportunity to decompress from the harsh realities of war.  With many fathers away from their families for extended periods, children living under the constant stress of rocket attacks, and brave individuals leaving everything behind to defend our land and communities, this initiative offered a chance for healing and reconnection.

We created a space where these heroes could reunite with their spouses and children, stepping away from the fear and uncertainty to simply be together as a family—restoring strength, love, and resilience.

Sisters at Heart

Sisters at Heart is a Loving Moms initiative, in partnership with Israel Heart 2 Heart, that creates a heartfelt bridge between women in South Florida and women in Israel who are carrying the immense responsibility of holding their families together while their spouses serve in the army.

Through this program, South Florida-based women are paired with Israeli women to offer encouragement, empathy, and emotional support during challenging times.

The goal is powerful: to ensure that no woman feels alone as she manages the weight of home, work, and raising children in the absence of her partner. Sisters at Heart fosters bonds of strength, understanding, and sisterhood—reminding our sisters in Israel that they are embraced, supported, and never forgotten.

Participant in the Sisters At Heart Program

I have been in touch with my sister since we got paired up. We touch base at least once a week via WhatsApp and do FaceTime at least once a month.
It has been a beautiful process building this friendship/support. It is not always easy to connect due to the time difference, but a simple message (even if it is read/answered at a later time or day) goes a long way.  💙

Teens Tutors for a Cause

In partnership with CADENA, Loving Moms launched the Tutors for a Cause program to bring healing, connection, and empowerment to young people in both South Florida and Israel. The initiative pairs teens from South Florida with children from the kibbutzim in the Gaza Envelope who were directly affected by the horrific events of October 7, 2023.

Through weekly virtual sessions, South Florida teens tutor their Israeli peers in English while also building genuine friendships across borders. More than just language learning, the program fosters resilience, understanding, and hope. Both groups of children benefit: Israeli students gain valuable skills and support during a time of upheaval, while South Florida teens deepen their Jewish identity, strengthen their ties to Israel, and learn the power of giving back.

At its heart, Tutors for a Cause is about creating community — one conversation, one lesson, and one bond at a time. It ensures that the next generation grows up connected, compassionate, and united, no matter the distance.
